EMCI RINGS IN 2008 WITH TWO NEW AUTHORIZED KNOWLEDGE PROVIDERS (AKPs)! (January 8, 2008)

American University in Cairo, EGYPT
The Engineering and Science Services Unit (ESSU) of The American University in Cairo (AUC) has become EMCI’s first AKP serving Egypt and North Africa.  The ESSU has developed and will offer courses in conjunction with its Professional Program in Engineering Management to support its newly-created Professional Certificate in Engineering Management (PCEM), a professional development initiative that facilitates training and preparation for EMCI’s Engineering Management Certification Professional (EMCP) certification examination.  AUC’s PCEM courses will begin in February 2008.

Guangzhou Modern Management Technology Exchange Center Company Limited, CHINA

Guangzhou Modern Management Technology Exchange Center Company Limited (GMMTECH) has become EMCI’s second AKP in China and will primarily serve prospective trainees in the Guangdong Province.  GMMTECH plans to begin offering preparatory courses for EMCI examinations beginning in Spring 2008.

Chinese version of the EMC-BOK published in Shanghai! (June 6, 2007)
EMCI is proud to announce that the Chinese EMC-BOK has been published by Shanghai Jiaotong University.  Congratulations are in order for the translator team from Shanghai CIETRON Management Consulting Company and its team leader, Professor Huang Caijin, for their contributions.  We also extend thanks to our volunteer expert reviewers, Dr. Bill Chen and Dr. Bin Wei, for their unyielding support.
 

First Global Authorized Knowledge Provider for EMCI in the Caribbean! (June 1, 2007)
EMCI is proud to welcome First Forum International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ENMAN, Inc., as our first global Authorized Knowledge Provider (AKP) based in Trinidad and Tobago.  First Forum International stands to serve the training needs of engineering management stakeholders for certification exam preparation and EMCI products both in the Caribbean and around the world.  On May 26, 2007, the EMCF and EMCP examinations were administered for the first time in the region at the St. Augustine Campus of the University of West Indies, and a second examination administration is planned for Fall 2007.
 

First Regional Authorized Knowledge Provider for EMCI in China! (February 12, 2007)
EMCI is pleased to announce the addition of Shanghai CIETRON Management Consulting Company to the community of EMCI Authorized Knowledge Providers (AKPs).  As a regional provider for the People's Republic of China, CIETRON plans to facilitate examination preparation for the next administration of EMCI Certification Examinations scheduled for later this year.

First EMCP Diploma Issued (December 15, 2005)
- The first group of EMCP™ examinees are taking the professional level of EMCI certification examination in USA and Canada.  The first EMCP™ Diploma is being issued today.

EMCI Confers Grandfathering Honors (November 10, 2005)
- EMCI™ is grandfathering a group of experts and professionals who have actively participated and pioneered the development of the EMCI™ certification program.

First Group of EMCFs (October 25, 2005)
- The first group EMCI™ applicants have been online to study the EMCI™ courses and prepare themselves for taking the EMCF™ level of the certification examination. These applicants include young engineers and ASME members from various companies and institutions, and most of them have been studying the EMCI online courses in the past three months.  The first EMCF™ Diploma is being issued today. 

EMCI Examinations in Place (July 15, 2005)
- EMCI™ certification examinations are officially being offered in North America (USA and Canada). The examinations are computer-based and provided through our partner Thomason Prometric.  Levels of EMCI certifications include EMCF™(Engineering Management Certification Fundamentals) and EMCP™(Engineering Management Certification Professional).
