While some individuals may be comfortable taking the examination without any preparatory courses, the overwhelming majority engage in some form of examination preparation. Because the examinations measure mastery of knowledge areas comprising the EMC-BOK™,  preparation is streamlined through the EMC-BOK™ Guide, which covers each knowledge domain and serves as a framework for both of the EMCI certification examinations.  Thus, while it is not required to demonstrate preparation through taking courses, EMCI nonetheless highly recommends that all prospective examinees purchase and review the EMC-BOK™ Guide.

Our network of Authorized Knowledge Providers (AKPs) is available for you to consult on exam preparation options, which may include a complete survey of all domains and/or domain-specific courses and whose content is primarily based on the EMC-BOK™.
