Once the Admission and Review Committee of EMCI™ decides that an applicant is eligible for either of the two levels of exams, EMCI will mail the applicant an Authorization Letter to Test (ALT) within 3-5 business days after the decision.  The ALT shall include the applicant's unique EMCI™ ID, directions for scheduling an exam appointment, and exam policies.  The ALT will be valid for six (6) months from the letter's date.

Please note that ASME is phasing out the EMCI Certification program.  As such, all applicants must take the exam by June 30, 2010.
