Certification Examination Fees
The application fee of USD100,- is non-refundable. For candidates who re-take the EMCF™ or EMCP™ exams, the application fee is waived.
Fees subject to change without notice. Except for re-registration of EMCF™ and EMCP™, both EMCF™ and EMCP™ examination fees include a USD100,- non-refundable application fee. The examination fee can be refunded only if a candidate is found ineligible for the certification or if a candidate decides to withdraw from the examination within the validity period stated in the letter of authorization to take the test.

These payments must be drawn on a US bank and made Payable in US Dollars to EMCI.
Please do not send in cash. Candidates' names and telephone numbers (including area code) must appear on all payments made by money order, bank draft, certified/cashier's check or company check. Checks and money orders received without proper candidate identification may be returned or unprocessed.

Refund Policy
The EMCI™ certification examination fee can be refunded only if a candidate decides to withdraw from the test within the period of eligibility, or if a candidate is found ineligible after EMCI™ Certification Center’s initial review of the candidate’s application. Requests for refunds must be made by mail, email ( EMCI@asme.org), or fax (+1 212.591.7143) to EMCI. Refund requests must include:

EMCI™ ID number (found in the Authorization Letter to Test).

Reason(s) of withdrawal, cancellation, or refund.
